Larkhill Small Animal Hospital has always been at the forefront in providing the best quality care for our patients, and as such, has always had a full in house laboratory.

This enables us to provide immediate analysis of bloods test and urine samples on patients, be they emergency presentations, or merely pre anaesthetic blood testing when required. We are also able to immediately analyze a range of other tests such as bloods smears and haematology, skin scrapes,ear cytology, tumour cytology and urinalysis etc. Being a large veterinary hospital, we also have twice daily pick ups to the main external pathology laboratory in Perth, VetPath, so for more complex samples such as histopathology samples and culture and sensitivity swabs we can get results back as soon as possible.
